ICE-ing on the cake: Yi Zhou picks yet another wrong three-letter agency to be “afraid” of!

The US seems to have always had a tumultuous relationship with the issue of immigration. The country essentially built by the Native Americans and a metric ton of migrants from all over the planet seems to have been overwhelmed by the influx of migrants for over a century now. And this “migrant fatigue” empowered a bunch of less than trustworthy politicians to provide extra funding and pretty much unlimited freedom of action to the notoriously known Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, more commonly known as ICE.

The horrible tactics and policies of ICE are nothing new, people are very well aware of their atrocities. And posting about the agency pretty much guarantees immediate and unanimous support and compassion online.

Unfortunately, Yi Zhou, a known fraudster I have been researching extensively, thought it would be a cool little idea to use allegations of ICE threats to shut down a talent she hired and defrauded, using his likeness to create his AI model without consent or reimbursement.

I am talking about this message, allegedly sent by Jeremy Renner:

Ms. Zhou claims the message made her fear for her life, although it should be noted that she refuses to show the full message to this day. Seems quite odd for a victim to refuse to show the clear evidence of the alleged abuse in full, don’t you think?

Now, let’s see if Yi Zhou really has a reason to be afraid of the immigration service.

According to the interview published by VoyageLA on December 11, 2019, Yi Zhou moved to Los Angeles in late 2017 (see below).

On March 13, 2017, her father (listed as Zhi Z Zhou on public record) and her purchased a condominium in Beverly Hills. Ms. Zhou is listed as its’ owner to this day. Her name and address are listed in various registries available not only to the common public, but to government entities like the ICE. Below is the real estate ownership information obtained from open public record sources.

In 2019, Ms. Zhou was sued for sexual harassment and wrongful termination by her former personal trainer. She was sued as an individual, the court papers were served at the office of one of her businesses.

Being sued as an individual usually requires the defendant to disclose their legal status.

Since 2019, Ms. Zhou registered several businesses in the US, the public record research confirms they are domestic corporations.

The US Law allows illegal immigrants to purchase real estate and even register businesses in the country, but then there is the following aspect: Ms. Zhou’s employment history clearly states she was employed at her own domestic companies.

And according to The Immigration Reform and Control Act (1986), it is illegal for a company to employ illegal or unauthorized immigrants in the US.

Knowing this, it is highly unlikely Ms. Zhou has been in the country illegally and was actually afraid of the ICE. Unless she has been breaking the federal law for over 6 years, while attending public events, working in the entertainment industry and living at a permanent, easily traceable address.

So which is it? Has Zhou knowingly been using the migration ‘threat” for victimhood brownie points (since she’s legal), or does the FBI need to look into her business practices? Another valid question for Yi Zhou…

Moreover, according to the US Law, a person has to stay in the US for 5 (five) years to apply for the US citizenship. Yi Zhou has been in the country for 8 (eight) years. She hasn’t left the country for over 6 months at a time, has no criminal record (the personal trainer applied to dismiss the harassment case after a year in court and a $25k settlement) – there is nothing stopping her from legalizing her status in the country.

Even with an expired Green card, she could still apply for citizenship.

And even that is not all I have for you!

The ICE-ing on the cake of her claims are Yi Zhou’s obvious and thoroughly documented political connections in Italy, Shanghai and Los Angeles.

In 2017-2018, Zhou associated with Stefano Beltrame, consul general of Italy in Shanghai.

See photo confirmation:

At the same time frame (2017-2018), Zhou flaunted her connection to Antonio Verde, consul general of Italy in Los Angeles (passed away in 2018).

See photo proof:

Zhou praised consul Verde and consul Beltrame for their help as she got her passport swiftly renewed in LA. Would that be possible for a regular, much less, an undocumented resident with an actual reason to be afraid of the ICE? Absolutely not.

At one point, Zhou pictured her mom and dad meeting the consul general of Italy in LA for a casual chat.

See proof below:

Now, do regular Americans just casually hang out with high-level diplomats? I think not!

Furthermore, Zhou met Antonio Villaeaigosa the 41st Mayor of LA (2005-2013, running for the 2026 term) at a private house party in 2017.

Note: “Uncle Rush” mentioned in the post is Russell Simmons, another one of Zhou’s long-time friends who is now being accused of raping an underage girl in the presence of Brett Ratner, whom Zhou calls her “protective” friend while ignoring the victim statements against both of these men. Selective victim advocacy at its finest.

Once consul general Verde passed away, Zhou cozied up to the new consul general of Italy in LA, Silvia Chiave (no longer in the office since March, 2023).

See photo proof from 2022:

Zhou might try and sweep this information under the rug as “past connections”, i.e. “no longer helpful”, but diplomatic connections never fully dissolve, especially ones that are this close. And since these political connections were very much active at the time when Zhou registered a bunch of businesses in the US, it is reasonable to assume her residency papers are much better taken care of than most Americans’ passports.

Yi Zhou claims even mere mentioning of the Immigration service terrified her, yet she has plenty of connections among the high-ranking Italian consulate diplomats in LA, has a permanent address, registered businesses and is actively working in the US, employs herself at her corporations and has far surpassed the necessary term of residency in the US required for the citizenship application. Claims of being scared of the ICE look more like a manipulation tool, used as part of a smear campaign aimed at avoiding a lawsuit after she defrauded a collaborator by using his voice and likeness to create an AI model without his consent.

And let’s be fully transparent and assume Mr. Renner actually sent a message like that. Without the full context of the message, we can deduct two hypothetical reasons for the threat.

One is the retaliation against the exploitation of the actor by the immigrant employer (for Zhou using the actor’s voice and likeness without consent). What can the immigration service do in this situation?

The answer: jack sh*t!

Calling the immigration service on Zhou over contract discrepancies would have done nothing!

Now, lets look at the second possible hypothetical reason, this one is still actively being pedaled by Zhou herself: threats over the dissolution of a romantic relationship. She claims the actor threatened to call the immigration service once the relationship ended and she kept harassing him and his female colleagues and friends verbally online and in private messages, which she clearly was doing back in October and November, 2025 (see below).

Now, what can the migration service do in this situation (a US citizen is being harassed by a legal migrant ex-partner)?

And the answer is, again, jack sh*t!

Harassment falls under criminal/domestic violence law, not immigration enforcement!

Deportation of an ex-romantic partner is theoretically possible only if they overstayed their visa (not the case here) or committed fiancée visa fraud (also not the case).

And as someone who likes to threaten people with her “lawyer team”, there’s no way Zhou didn’t consult them on the issue, had she really been concerned by the alleged threat!

So, the tall tales about being “oh, so scared” of the immigration are blatant lies. She uses the ICE’s notoriety to drag more people on her side of the conflict without providing any real proof of abuse. All the while the proof of her committing contract fraud, abusing the MeToo movement for personal revenge and being an overall con-artist is mounting all around her…
