“But he was nice to Me!”: the Selective Victim Advocacy of Yi Zhou
I’d like to start this article with a quote from my not-so-welcome acquaintance, Ms. Yi Zhou:
Beautifully said,
Ms. Zhou! Or should I call you Chat GPT?
Regardless of this
little oopsie, the message is something that rings true to me. You’re right,
Zhou/Chat GPT, let’s speak out against abuse today!
And we don’t have
to wander too far to find the abusers to expose, let’s begin with Zhou’s own
social circles (of Hell).
Circle 1:
Hypocrites
Let’s begin with
Zhou’s good old friend, Diane von Fürstenberg and her husband Barry
Diller.
Zhou is frequently
posting praises to her, and keeps pushing the horrendous, decade-old 3D
portrait of Diane (seen in the back of picture above) in every project she can,
even in her latest AI slop of a cartoon.
Diane is a Belgian
fashion designer and a has-been in pretty much any decent social circle. Her
and her husband might seem like normal, established people, but they have
chosen to trade their dignity for handy connections and remained close and
friendly with Jeffrey Epstein for years after he was convicted of
sexually assaulting a 14-year-old child in 2008.
Here is one of
many “cordial invitations” to events Diane partnered on sent to Epstein:
Furthermore,
Epstein helped organize events for Diane’s daughter:
And the rotten
cherry on top:
All these
invitations and events took place between 2009 and 2012, long after it was
already widely, WIDELY known that Epstein was a rapist of minors and a
trafficker. But integrity doesn’t pay as well as sucking up to pedophiles, I
guess?
Moving on.
Circle 2:
Rapists and violent abusers
Now, this is the
circle Yi Zhou clearly feels the most comfortable in, judging by the number of
close friends she has that fit the category of violent sexual abusers.
Let’s start with
Zhou’s dear friend Anthony Kiedis, frontman of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Zhou posted quite
a few pics with Kiedis back in 2015-2016, and is still posting about his
concerts, birthdays and shared memories.
So, what’s the
deal with Anthony Kiedis? Well, to put it lightly, he’s a sexual predator.
In 1989, he was
convicted of sexual battery of a female fan, an event Kiedis himself called “a
playful backstage thing”. Here’s the description of a “playful” sexual assault:
This conviction
was followed by an incident of sexual harassment involving a record executive
Julie Farman. In 1990, she barely escaped a rape attempt by Kiedis and another
member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers by quite literally running to her office
and locking herself up.
Moreover, in his
own autobiography “Scar Tissue”, Anthony Kiedis brazenly admits to several
cases of statutory rape he committed!
One of his victims
was only 14 years old, while Kiedis was in his 20’s.
Another victim of
his was actress Ione Skye, who was barely 16 when the “relationship” began
(Kiedis was around 24 at the time).
The pedophilic
spree didn’t end there for Kiedis, as he began a relationship with a
17-year-old Jennifer Bruce and later, with a 17-year-old Jaime Rishar. Kiedis
was 32 at the time he was exploiting Rishar:

Did Zhou know
about her beau’s past? How could she not? His book, describing these nasty
escapades in visceral detail was released all the way back in 2008! This was no
secret!
Now, how many
posts did Yi Zhou, the self-proclaimed sexual abuse victim advocate, make about
standing up for the minors coerced and sexually abused by Anthony Kiedis? And
no, I don’t care if a teenage child is “sexually curious”, it doesn’t give
predators any right to exploit that curiosity to satiate their pedophilic lust.
Zero posts for his
victims. Only support of the abuser from Yi Zhou, because “he was nice to me!”
Next in line,
Brett Ratner, with multiple posts praising him over the years and 8 posts on
Zhou’s socials celebrating this “dear protective friend” in January, 2026
alone.
Ratner was accused
of sexual misconduct by six women back in 2017, the misconduct in question
ranging from harassment to rape. In October, 2024, a lawsuit alleging sexual
assault of an autistic actress Charlotte Kirk was filed against Ratner, whose
identity in court documents was hidden behind a pseudonym “Clark Grandin”.
Note: Tsujihara
was a high-ranking Warner Bros. boss at the time of the incident.
And, of course, we
can’t forget Ratner’s connections to Jeffrey Epstein and his friend, human
trafficker and rapist of minors, Jean-Luc Brunel. Ratner is featured extensively
in the Epstein files, with many highly disturbing pictures of Zhou’s
“protective friend” next to underage girls.
Ratner’s links to
Epstein (as well as attempts to dismiss his victims’ claims) are described in
detail in a separate article posted here: https://marnydearest.blogspot.com/2026/02/brett-ratner-will-never-wiggle-his-pest.html
Again, does Zhou
know about this? Absolutely, yes! Multiple comments were made on her posts
about Ratner on social media, showing her the pictures from the Epstein Files,
she hides and deletes the comments and keeps praising him!
Not a single
victim of Brett Ratner was even acknowledged by Yi Zhou! Their pain –
dismissed, their stories disregarded. This “victim advocate” seems to be
interested only in praising the abusers…
Next in the lineup
is Russell Simmons, entrepreneur, record executive… and an abuser of minors.
Are you noticing a theme yet?
Zhou has a real
high opinion of this one’s… spiritual image.
Yet, him and
Ratner seem to have very similar “interests”.
Back in 1991,
Ratner and Simmons lured 17-year-old Keri Claussen Khalighi to Simmon’s
apartment, where the latter sexually assaulted the underage girl while Ratner
“watched”.
Knowing this, the
following post Zhou made about Simmons looks like a cruel joke:
A rapist publicly
mocks his victims with a performative “anti-violence” meditation…
Does Zhou know of
the allegations? Why, yes, I took care of informing her myself!
As you can see,
she saw the message, read the article… and blocked the “messenger”. All her
posts praising Simmons are still up on her Instagram. No mercy to Keri
Khalighi. Not a word from Zhou. Just more praise to the abusers:
With her penchant
for rapists, you have to wonder who Zhou really wants to “help”…
Next abusive-type
pokemon on our list is Mickey Rourke, who’s also a good buddy of Yi Zhou.
This one has a
long history of being both a violent offender, and a sexually abusive creep.
Back in 1994, he
was arrested for slapping his then-wife, actress Carre Otis, knocking her down
and kicking her during a visit to the couple’s publicist’s office.
Director Matthew
Barry also recalled a disturbing, violent incident involving Rourke in 1997.
The following
screenshots are taken from an article by Josh Boswell of the Daily Mail, much
obliged for your work!
And that’s not
all, or course.
In 2020, after the
filming of the thriller “Girl”, Rourke’s co-star, 27-year-old actress Bella
Thorne described an instance of gross sexualized battery committed by the actor:
And we can’t
forget the passive-aggressive, rapey comments Rourke made towards Jojo Siwa on
Big Brother.
This old creep
with a lengthy history of violent outbursts “deserves peace” according to Yi
Zhou. None of his victims were ever acknowledged by her. Sounds like her victim
advocacy is rather selective, doesn’t it?..
Next up is the
director Oliver Stone, Yi Zhou’s supposed “mentor”:
His history of
sexual misconduct is shorter, but he doesn’t deserve to feel less guilty about
it:
Let me ask the
same old question again, how many posts did Zhou, as a victim advocate, make in
support of Stone’s victims? Why, not a single one, of course! Her reasoning
remains the same as with the rest of her monster-buddies: “But he was nice to
meeee!”
Bonus pic: here’s
Zhou praising Oliver Stone’s artsy-fartsy vision of drug use. Great job, Yi,
you were “deeply moved” by stories of drug abuse from a guy who was arrested
for driving under the influence in 1999 and 2005. His experience “brought him
closest to the experience of death”, huh? No wonder! This asshole can bring
many innocent people closer to that experience as he’s speeding through Beverly
Hills while high on LSD, you, muppet!
Last but not
least, Yi Zhou’s alleged “ex”, Jared Leto.
This one is still
nearly worshipped by Zhou, with posts such as these on her socials:
This one is a
doozy… Allegations of sexual abuse of underage fans by Leto pretty much
followed his band wherever they went on tour.
Below is the
extract from the article titled “Jared Leto accused of sexual misconduct and
'predatory, terrifying' behavior by nine women” by euronews, released in 2025:
<…> “Allegations
against Leto emerged last month, when DJ Allie Teilz shared an old
Facebook post, written in 2012, on her Instagram Story.
“Youre [sic] not
really in L.A. until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage… In a
kilt.. And a snow hat. I was assaulted and traumatized by this creep when I was
17,” she wrote. In separate story, she added: “He knew my age and didn’t care.
What he did was predatory, terrifying and unacceptable.” <…>
<…> One
woman told the publication that in 2006, when she was 16-years-old, Leto
approached her outside a Los Angeles café. <…>
“We had a quick
conversation, and he got my number.” She went on to say that Leto called her
home a few days later, recalling: “I don’t know if he was on drugs or what … It
was the weirdest, grossest voice … [but] for me, it’s Jared, you know?”
“And the
conversations turned sexual,” she continued. “He’d ask things like: ‘Have you
ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever sucked a d*ck?” <…>
<…> Another
woman who spoke to the outlet said that she and Leto began texting while she
was still underage. She alleged he would ask her inappropriate questions during
her visits to his house, including “Do any of the little boys you hang out with
f*ck you?”
The woman alleged
that once, when she was 18, Leto had “suddenly pulled his p*nis out and started
m*sturbating”. She told Air Mail: “He walked over, grabbed my hand, and
put it on him. He leaned in and said: ‘I want you to spit on it.” <…>
And this is only a
few of the stories, a lot more underage girls he abused have come out. His
treatment of minors has been an open secret in the entertainment industry.
And, again, not a
peep, not a word of compassion for his victims… What happened to “believe all
women”, the blanket statement Zhou likes to pedal so much? Clearly, selective
victim advocacy strikes again!
Moreover, back in
November, 2025, Yi Zhou attempted to give an interview to a podcaster at Big
Picture World Studios, with the aim of badmouthing a collaborator she
defrauded, stealing his voice and likeness for an AI model without consent. But
Zhou got a little more than she bargained for, because the podcaster was also
going to interview victims of Jared Leto. Upon hearing about this, Zhou
abandoned the scheduled interview, refusing to hear or acknowledge the women
Leto abused.
The statement from
the podcaster is available through the link below:
https://jumpshare.com/share/9IOj0LikQhd50bw3I1b2?b=LbM9BF6b928KOjluiipc
Here’s the brief
transcript for clarity:
<…> The
craziest thing is, when I told her I was about to expose Leto and Renner, after
I did that video for her, she told me that she couldn’t partake in what I was
gonna do to move forward, because she had dated Jared Leto ten years ago and he
was nice to her! And I go, “Well, what about all of the underage women that
came out and approached her?” <…> …she refused to connect any of this to
Jared Leto. And I go, “Why don’t you come and sit on the stage then, with all
the women that accused Jared Leto of the abuse that he instilled upon them? And
you can sit across from them, and you can share how he was nice to you, and
listen to all these women talk about how he pursued them while they were
underage…” <…>
As you can see,
ignoring and dismissing victim stories is something Zhou is more than willing
to do when it comes to her “friends”. No integrity, no character, no dignity.
This is the type of victim advocate that is more likely to hold a victim for
the rapist to assault. She doesn’t care about other people’s pain, she
consistently supports sexual predators and only uses the “victim advocate”
narrative when she wants to use the MeToo movement as her personal revenge
tool, or when she’s caught on an “inconvenient” truth about her own past.
The only victim
worth protecting in Zhou’s eyes is Yi Zhou herself.
You are a
disgrace, Yi Zhou. A narcissistic, hypocritical fraud hiding behind AI pictures
to avoid looking at yourself, making pompous, self-aggrandizing posts to your
audience that is at least 67% bots… You’re an insult to victim advocates, and
you aren’t fooling anyone with your performative idle-talk.
I’d like to finish
this article with a post, surprisingly, by one of the predators we mentioned,
Russell Simmons:
“Imagine if the
yoga class’ music was the sound of your breath… <…> Try it, perhaps you
will become enlightened,” he said.
I’d like to
paraphrase it for Zhou personally, since she hate-reads the articles:
Imagine if the music you make your “victimhood” posts to was the cries of pain your friends’ victims made during numerous assaults… Imagine their cries for help, every “No!” they uttered in terror. Try it, perhaps, it will break through the impenetrable haze of your narcissism and allow you to see who you should really be advocating for! Because, so far, you’ve only been advocating for your own bruised ego.
